International Airborne
Brotherhood for Peace

The people who have seen war carry the deepest wisdom about how to end it. We bring their voices to the front of conflict resolution — and their bodies and minds back to health, naturally.

Our Mission

Combatants Belong at the Peace Table

In conflict resolution, the men and women who actually fought are too often pushed to one side. The International Airborne Brotherhood for Peace exists to change that. We connect airborne and special forces veterans across borders — a brotherhood that already shares a canopy of trust — and amplify the thoughts, concerns, and solutions coming from that community.

We listen to voices of wisdom on peace and conflict resolution across Africa and around the world, and we bring what we learn home: to policymakers, to communities, and above all to fellow veterans still carrying the weight of war.

What We Do

Three Pillars

Brotherhood Across Borders

Building a standing international network of airborne and special forces veterans — starting with units in more than twenty African nations — united by shared experience and a shared commitment to peace.

Veterans' Voices for Peace

Interviews, gatherings, and dialogues that put combat veterans at the center of conflict resolution — capturing solutions from the community that understands the cost of war best.

Natural Healing & Recovery

A resource hub for turning health around without dependence on pharmaceuticals: nutrition, detox, fasting, meditation, and yoga — pathways through PTSD, addiction, and the long shadow of service.

The Airborne Peace Tour

Jumping Into Peace, One Nation at a Time

Our founding expedition: a tour of airborne and special forces units across Africa — training and jumping alongside them, then sitting down to listen. Every jump opens a door; every conversation builds the brotherhood.

Along the way we record the voices of elders, peacemakers, and veterans, creating a living archive of conflict-resolution wisdom from the people the world rarely asks.

Healing Resources

Recovery Without the Pharmacy

There are many ways of dealing with post-traumatic stress that don't begin and end with a prescription. Our founder walked this road himself — and we point veterans toward the practices that carried him through.

Raw Food & Nutrition

Food as the first medicine — practical guidance on raw and living-food approaches to rebuilding health.

Fasting & Detox

Natural fasting and detox regimens for veterans working through dependence on alcohol, drugs, or medication.

Meditation & Yoga

Daily practices — even just a sun salutation each morning — that quiet the nervous system and steady the mind.

PTSD Pathways

A curated directory of veteran-trusted programs, retreats, and communities for non-pharmaceutical recovery.

This site shares experience and community resources, not medical advice. Work with a qualified practitioner before changing any treatment.

Founder

Michael McCarthy

Airborne veteran. Commercial pilot. For three years, a trainer of special forces in Thailand. And for the years that mattered most — a single father who put raising his two children above everything else.

After leaving the military world, Michael found his own recovery not in pharmaceuticals but in raw food, meditation, and yoga — eventually managing America's leading raw food restaurant in San Francisco. Those practices carried him through his own wartime experience. Now he's returning to the airborne world with a different mission: peace, and healing for the people who fought.

"No one need die. It's a network of introductions — a brotherhood. That's how peace gets made."
